Description

A quick One Pot Super Simple Mac and Cheese recipe that can be put together in less than 15 minutes, ready to serve your family and friends.

Ingredients
  • 500 g pasta
  • 380 g mild cheddar (2.5 cups)
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup full fat Philadelphia cheese
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella
  • 230 g double cream (1 cup)
  • 380 ml semi skimmed milk
  • 1.2 l water
  • 25 g panko crumbs
Instructions
  1. 1

Start with adding the water to the pot and bring to a boil, followed by the milk and also let it come to a boil. Add your pasta with all the seasonings.

  2. 2

Boil the mixture until pasta is al dente. This took approximately 8 minutes but may vary depending on pasta and what is written on the packaging.

  3. 3

Add the mild cheddar, double cream, cream cheese and mozzarella and let them all boil together for about 2 minutes, just enough to combine and mix together all the cheese.

  4. 4

Do not overcook so the pasta doesn’t become too soft. Add salt to the mixture.

  5. 5

Transfer into a 27cm wide Le Creuset oval oven dish and top with an extra cup of mozzarella and panko crumbs.

  6. 6

Put into a preheated oven until the top becomes completely melted and crunchy.

  7. 7

    Serve and enjoy! 🙂
