Chocolate Orange Cardamom Pudding

This has to be one of the easiest desserts I have made in history. The recipe blossom from my husbands late night sweet tooth craving and before I knew it, it was so good that he kept requesting it and I knew I had to share the recipe.

This is a perfect recipe when entertaining, and nobody would ever know how simple it actually is to make. I share with you a very step by step meticulous way of assembling it together but in reality, you can just throw everything into a baking dish, mix everything and pop it in the oven to bake for 45 minutes.

Chocolate Orange Cardamom Pudding

  1. Cut the Orange fruit loaf slices into 4 pieces or roughly tear them apart and place them in a medium sized stoneware oven dish.

  2. Add the cream, orange zest, cardamom pods and powder, half of the custard and chocolate chips to the dish and give everything a good mix.

  3. Finish it off by adding the rest of the custard and chocolate chips to the dish.

  4. Bake uncovered in a pre hearted oven on 200c fan for 45-55 minutes or until golden and sizzling on top.

  5. Enjoy on its own or with a drizzle of cream or ice cream on top.
